Around since 1913, the building at 11275 Folsom Blvd. in Rancho Cordova is a well-known historical site. Recent change in ownership has transformed the Sheepherder Bar and Grille into a fun, relaxing place to enjoy tasty, creative American cuisine. Executive chef, Jessie Hernandez, has created fabulous menus including items such as local heirloom tomato salad, filet mignon with lobster tail and the Sheepherder lamb shank. There are also yummy daily specials, a full bar and an newly opened patio which is the perfect spot to enjoy one of the wines from their rotating wine list. Happy Hour is from 2-6:30 daily at The Citrus Bar and includes drinks under $4 and a burger with beer for $5!
